A quickie – it’s late

Just playing with images from Saturday’s High Desert Bellydance Guild performance. This is one of my absolute favorite people in the world to shoot – the lovely and talented Sitris.

More from these wonderful performers later…

Nice shot! It’s so hard to shoot belly dancers under low light conditions, like at the OSC. They move so much! :)

Sitris rocks, and she always has the most interesting music. Flight of the Bumblebee by Yo-Yo Ma and Bobby McFerrin? LOL

I couldn’t agree more Dave! And I just hate the thought of disturbing the dancers as well as the audience with endless flashes, so I rely on a high ISO and a lot of luck.

Sitris has always been my favorite. She personifies belly dancing…

This is a great shot of Leia! Thanks for rushing to the show to take photos for us. If you wouldn’t mind getting some pictures to our newsletter editor, Rasha (Tracy Alexander), I would really appreciate it.. She is creating the newletter which will go out by Friday Nov 7th. Pics of the event would be a great addition.

Geez~ I look so sinister! I hardly recognize myself! I only stumbled across this looking for the previous year’s show, the one of me and Kamini in the chains, and it took me a minute to put this all together! You really have the touch, Lance! I don’t know how you do it! I hope you end up digging out some more for us to see someday. I can’t get enough!

AND, I should say, that it is an honor to be one of your faves! I’ll take that!
