Amazing. It was a dream come true and I was giddy as a school girl. I’ve seen a lot of giddy school girls, so I know of what I speak. For the first time in THIRTY-THREE YEARS, the greatest band in the entire world – RUSH!!!! – was on American television. How appropriate the show to pull off the incredible was The Colbert Report! Thanks Kat for bringing this incredibly AWESOME and historic moment to my attention.
After catching them three times on the Snakes and Arrows tour, I couldn’t be more psyched! Bask in the glory people…

Heh. I Tivo-ed it and was gonna burn the show down on disc for you, but then realized that you probably had already beat me to the punch. And – of course … no surprise here.
Did you catch the next day’s show, btw? Colbert was waking up, and Rush was *still* playing … the same song. Heh. Hilarious.
